Barbara Beall brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her acts and performances. From Cowgirl to Christmas Elf, Barbara excels at bringing interactive characters to life.
Barbara is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of British Columbia's BFA Acting Program where she received the Hnatyshyn Foundation Developing Artist Grant for English Theatre. Recent credits include appearances on the popular TV shows Riverdale, The 100, iZombie and The Detour.
On stage, Barbara has been bringing laughter to life since 2002 working with Improv groups such as Calgary's Improv Guild, Vancouver Theatre Sports, The Fictionals Comedy Co., and The Critical Hit Show. In addition to acting in film, television, and theatre, Barbara is co-chair of the UBCP/ACTRA Queer Performers Committee and a member of Te Tini a Maui, Vancouver's Kapa Haka performance group.
Barbara's feature tribute character is Marilyn Monroe. Her effervescent personality and striking natural resemblance to the Hollywood icon will leave you breathless. Before the Met Gala buzz about the iconic "Happy Birthday Mr. President" dress, Barbara had the privilege of touring her tribute to Marilyn with the famous gown for Ripley’s Believe It Or Not (owned by Jimmy Pattison) Jimmy engaged Barbara to travel to Saskatchewan to his hometown’s newly opening Save On Foods. Barbara and dress also travelled to Regina & Saskatoon and entertained people while they waited in line to see the dress.
