James voiced the character of Wapiti the Spirit Elk in Animism: The God’s Lake and has worked on a variety of projects such as Things We Lost in the Fire, X–Files, and Motive.
He has acted in a range of theatrical productions from Othello to Driving Miss Daisy.
Jeff Turner Film successfully secured James the role of "Warren, Nowhere Man" in the Netflix original series Beat Bugs.
His most recent work being the voice narrative for National Geographic Wild called "Dead by Dawn" by the producers of the Walking Dead. (2019)
James is also known for Smallville (2004), The Peace Offering (2009), Supernatural (2013), and Avelline’s Window (2014).
